Throw
another potato in the oven, we have another little Idaho Spud to feed.
Ella was born to Lara and Mike Smith Jr. on March 18, 2004 at
3:27pm weighing in at 7lbs ½ oz. and 19 long (or short is more
appropriate) named Luella Marie Smith after her great gramma on her
mothers, fathers, side. She is a perfect little bundle of joy,
looking a lot like her sister Miss Martha did except her eyes are blue like her
We are ordering the paint to change the population sign once again. Everyone is
well and glad to get back to our normal routine. The baby came one day after
the helicopter pulled out of town, wouldnt you know!! Get ready
Clearwater Valley School System, cause the Smith Sisters are about
to arrive!
A group of ladies working on scrapbooks came into town last weekend, they
stayed up until 2am working with their sizzors and scraps, things dont
get much more exciting than that, but they had a good time.
We
have springtime in the Rockies this last weekend here in Lowell, any grass seed
is eaten by the turkeys, but thank goodness we have a lot of wild greenery, and
not much mud this year yet.
Last
night some kayakers pulled in and slept in their little pick-up trucks right
outside my front door, they brush their teeth without any water and they eat
humas and kooskoos while sitting on their tail gates. I think thats a
true sign of free spirit, who knows when they took a shower last?
Chris
Engledow and Jerimi Syron took over the Big Horn show up in Spokane for a few
days last week to represent Three Rivers Rafting, they did a good job and had
more fun than the scrapbook ladies.
Don
Wilson and Nelson Landry had coffee with Bob Flammang last week at the
Wilderness Inn. They all had a good time and are thinking about starting a
scrapbook group along with Ann Ryan, who is already a scrapbooker.
Everyones
busy with their spring projects and Miss Martha is busy helping with the new
baby. Shes quick to give little Ella a half eaten cookie, or a big kiss
on the head. She knows how to say Ella and trys to bring anything that the baby
might need, after all it was only 20 months ago that she was laying there
helpless herself, but now shes the big sister!!
